Compared to written or oral forms of communication, such as articles or presentations, policy simulations combine challenge, immersion, emotions, and learning-by-doing in a safe environment. This session offers an interactive demonstration of a policy simulation with a focus on cascading climate impacts, their effects on the sustainability of global food supply, and the balancing of environmental conservation with nutritional needs. This simulation has been designed to engage a broad range of participants, including policy makers, researchers, and students.
